Drawing years of exposure in the financial sector, traversing evolution and advancement in the capital market, Nooraini has firm capabilities in helming full-fledge initiatives of fund management specific to equities and fixed-income investments.

Her broad-spectrum experience in the fields of investment analysis, portfolio management, equities and fixed-income trading, and related support services including back-office operations, spans across careers in both private and quasi-public sectors. Nooraini’s career stints include positions in commercial banking, investment banking, fund management and venture capital management in Malaysia and the Middle East.

Her proficiency in fundamental and technical analyses enabled her to play an essential and supporting role in the development of AireCap’s unique strategies, witnessing the advancement from initiation to final completion.

Nooraini is a co-founder and Supervisory Officer of an international waqf foundation, Khadijah International Waqf (L) Foundation. She is a Master and Bachelor of Business Administration graduate from Ohio University (USA).

Zanariah Jaafar

Director / Principal Officer

A senior management professional with wide experience in leading financial & operational management, investment management & strategic planning, Zanariah has served the financial industry at premier institutions of investment banking, trust services, financial services and asset management.

Having strong competencies in managing overall business operations, she is a technical specialist in financial and investment analysis, portfolio management (equities, fixed-income, IPs/media assets, real estate, investment funds, private equities, structured products), origination and structuring mandates and asset restructurings.

Her strong analytical skills and financial proficiency in managing details and delivering decision-making proposals, has established her outstanding capabilities in generating investment evaluation, management reports & performance reviews to stakeholders and regulators.

Zanariah is a graduate of Master of Business Administration (University of Strathclyde, UK) and Bachelor of Statistics & Business Administration (University of Guelph, Canada).

Ahmad Aliff A S Ahmad Shariffuddin

Director / Chief Commercial Officer

A high-achiever and technology entrepreneur, Aliff is an extraordinary business owner with commercial interests in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the UK. Due to his immense enthusiasm for innovative solutions and creative products, his business exposure encompasses several diverse industries including trading, logistics, financial and engineering. Apart from establishing business operatives, he has substantial work experience extending across Malaysia, Australia, Abu Dhabi, and the UK.

Aliff is a global blockchain technology consultant who consults on initial offering project, blockchain development, exchange development and blockchain integration. Sharing the same interests with Nik, together they have successfully developed and consulted on 14 blockchain projects, and founded several exclusive startups since 2009.

A passion for knowledge has led both Aliff and Nik to sponsor and also co-supervise blockchain Phd and Master students via their company’s (Ifcon Technology Sdn Bhd) scholarship program, at the oldest and the best university in Malaysia, University of Malaya. They have also funded the first blockchain technology lab at the same university.

Aliff and Nik began to participate in the capital market industry and decided to venture into asset management after they both met and were trained by a legendary silent market wizard. They have inherited a unique mathematical and statistical technical trading system which has been developed over 40 years with proven excellent results.

An avid reader and prolific writer, Aliff has published books and a few academic publications in areas of drone technology, UAVs and electronics. Aliff is a Bachelor of Engineering graduate from Adelaide, Australia. He read Mechanical Engineering but loves developing software and application. He is also a blockchain technology believer since 2010.

Ts. Nik Muhammad Izwan Dato’ Dr Ir Nik Mohd Kamel

A seasoned and accomplished serial entrepreneur and business enthusiast, Nik possesses distinct software engineering acumen, with sterling capabilities in software development. He founded his first IT business at an awesome age of 14, providing web hosting and web development services. Thereafter scaling to advance his entrepreneurship skills, Nik has established several entities in areas of e-commerce, IT, fintech, logistics and general import export. He is currently a major shareholder and board member of numerous innovative companies.

Nik is also a blockchain technologist and together with Aliff, has developed and consulted on 14 blockchain projects and co-founded several startups including Scrut.my (automotive industry), Idsb.my (fintech – personal financing platform), Ifmal.com (e-commerce platform), Drone.my (drone & unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) services portal) and Coin.my (blockchain technology & crypto currency news portal).

With his savvy expertise in software development and, energy and enthusiasm to succeed, Nik takes the lead in the development of Airecap‘s cutting-edge solutions. He is on an ongoing mission to refine and redefine AireCap’s solutions to be in tandem with technological development.

Nik is a graduate of Master of Business Administration (University of Southampton, UK) and Bachelor of Information Technology – Software Engineering (Hon) (Multimedia University, Malaysia).

Ainul Shakirah Dr. Shafie

Chief Financial Officer

A passionate and dedicated learner, Ainul has been involved in the accounting sector since her days in Adelaide, Australia. Upon completion of her master’s degree, she was offered a full–time job as an accountant cum project officer and went on to work for a couple of years before deciding to return to homeland Malaysia.

Since her return, Ainul has worn several hats. She has been the person-in-charge of most of Aliff’s and Nik’s businesses spanning different sectors including retail, automotive repair, research & development and technology. She has matrixed as an accountant, financial controller, advisor, thinker, analyst and content writer, amongst others. She advanced to be the Chief Financial Officer of Aliff’s and Nik’s group of companies prior to joining AireCap.

An avid reader and lover of newfound knowledge, Ainul spent time learning about and keeping abreast with the latest in blockchain technology. Naturally, she began writing for Coin.my, a blockchain technology and cryptocurrency news portal, and has published more than 200 articles on the website. She also successfully published a book for beginners in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.

Multitalented Ainul is a University of Adelaide (Australia) graduate of Master in Health Economics and Policy, and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).

Shafiq Shahabudin

Chief Strategic Officer

Syafiq Shahabudin is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering and financial engineering. He is distinguished by his innovative thinking and strong analytical skills, which have allowed him to excel in various roles throughout his career. Syafiq is currently making a significant impact as the CSO of Nusa Kapital Sdn Bhd, a pioneering financial services company and Sr Advisor of Crewstone International Sdn Bhd a Private Equity company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Syafiq holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University (MMU), where he was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as serving as an English deejay for Radio MMU and participating in various societies and events. He also earned a Foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.

Syafiq's began his career with with roles in network engineering in the oil and gas industry, where he showcased his expertise in LAN/WAN, wireless, and security infrastructure. His career took a significant turn when he transitioned to the financial sector, where he held positions including Senior Network Engineer at Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Manager, Innovation, Digital, and Strategy Department.

At SC, he played a crucial role in network capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, architecture, hardware maintenance, and security measures implementation. In the Analytics Department, he facilitated the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) infrastructure, and Extract, Load, and Transform (ETL) programs. Syafiq also played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language, an open standard for electronic communication of business and financial data, facilitating worldwide information exchange) submission gateway, ensuring alignment with user requirements.

Syafiq's entrepreneurial spirit and desire to bridge capital with innovative business ideas eventually led him to join the team of Nusa Kapital Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Ethis Kapital), the world’s first regulated Shariah-compliant P2P Crowdfunding Platform based in Malaysia. In his current role as CSO, he drives the company's vision and strategy, leveraging his extensive knowledge of capital markets, financial regulation, and investment management to create a dynamic and successful financial services organization.

Syafiq is a Certified Data Science Specialist. He possesses a wide range of skills, including network architecture, network systems, financial regulation, venture capital, and investment management.

Syaikh Maulana Dr. Hanaffie bin Hasin As-Syafi’e, also known as Maulana Nasaei Hanaffie, is a distinguished scholar deeply engaged in Islamic sciences, Shariah, and jurisprudence.
